Sinful Chocolate Ice Cream

As I an ice cream fanatic, I frequently talk to people about ice cream.  Discussion often turns to the flavors they enjoy (and trying to get me to make them) and ice cream shops they like to frequent.  Through these conversations it has become apparent that people are either chocolate ice cream lovers or they are not.  I am not sure why this dichotomy exists, as I enjoy almost every ice cream flavor in existence, but to some chocolate ice cream is not exciting.

Coffee Ice Cream

Ice cream for breakfast...why not?  Ice cream is often eaten as a quick lunch, an afternoon snack, or a sweet indulgence.  It is seemingly healthy with a large dose of dairy and fruit (if included).  Top some ice cream with granola and you have yourself a meal!  So why not breakfast?  Coffee ice cream seems like a perfect substitute for the regular morning cup-o-joe.

Chocolate Chip & Coffee Ice Cream Sandwiches

I have been craving chocolate chip cookies all week.  Visions of gooey chocolate chips pouring out of soft and golden brown cookies...the taste of browned butter thick on my tongue...*sigh.*  This is what I daydream about (well besides ice cream).   Unfortunately life's more important things got in the way of cookie baking plans this week...until last night!
